Schedule of Events for Saturday, 5 April 2003
Please convene at the visitor center, 16701 SW 72 Ave., Miami
8:30 am - Coffee and bagels on the veranda of the visitor
center
9:00 - 10:30 Introduction to the Deering Estate (Alicie) and
scientific presentations
10:30 - 11:30 Guided Walks and pontoon tour. Rangers will
meet PBSF folks and escort us into the estate
[hammock/pineland walk, mangrove boardwalk, and pontoon -
12 only]
11:30 - 12:30 Lunch on back veranda of visitor's center
[Suggest you bring a sack lunch]
12:30 - 2:30 pm Scientific presentations
2 - 3 Guided Walks and pontoon tour
