Effects of soil microbial interactions on native plant performance, persistence, and distributions in the imperiled Florida Rosemary Scrub – Michelle Afkhami, Aaron David, Khum Thapa Magar, Pedro Quintana-Ascencio, Eric Menges, and Christopher Searcy

New Guinea flatworm in the Florida Keys, tree snails, and extended ecological impacts – Jim Duquesnel

The first talk will be at 10:15 am so please arrive by 10:00 am. Then we’ll have lunch (bring a sack lunch, ideally) and reconvene at Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park for a hike in the woods until 2:30 or 3:00 pm.

The park has $2.50 admission fee on the honors system (including county tax) so please bring exact change for the box.
